Review - Burgers Park (North York, Toronto)

11:00:00 AM

Hello Everyone! It has been a long time since I have posted on my blog. I feel like Instagram had taken over my blogging days. Additional, my life has been very busy with work and family life. My endless passion for "good" food will never die.

For this journey, I was meeting up with some local Instagram foodie stars. We were looking at a couple restaurants of interest to visit. We try to visit places worthy of their taste and not of their Instagram value. One of the key places that we wanted to visit was closed for lunch (I was shaking my head in disbelief). As a result, we agreed upon visiting Burgers Park!

Atmosphere:
It's located in a middle juggle of commercial office buildings. Whoever thought of building a restaurant building to service all the hungry office employees was a genius. There was a lots of parking for patrons of the building. To find this restaurant, you had to look hard. I didn't see an outdoor sign for this place but recognize the decor of this place from the online photos. This was a food diner with an atmosphere that wasspacious and visually appealing. Wooden benches, tables, countertops, and other decorative surfaces create a bright, warm feeling you might not experience at most other burger joints.

Service:
All you do is go up to the cashier and order what you want. They will page you once it was aready.

Food:
The menu was posted on the wall and at the cashier. The food options were burgers and fries. Additionally, they had specialize drinks and milkshakes. For this adventure, my trusted foodies recommended the burgers and milkshake.

I ordered their Park Burger ($7.89), crinkle-cut fries (forgot price) and the Salted Caramel Milkshake ($6.49). The angus patty was absolutely delightful - juicy and flavourful with a good fat to meat ratio and umami flavour. The additional ingredients of cheddar cheese, dijonnaise, sauteed onions and sweet beefsteak tomatoes were the perfect compliment to the burger. The lettuce and house pickles added some crunchy texture and the toasted sesame brioche buns absorbed all the meat juices without falling apart.

The crinkle-cut fries were simple yet perfect in texture. It has the right balance of crispy outside with soft inside. Very well seasoned with a little salt. These were totally divine.

The Salted Caramel Milkshake was delicious and had the wonderful contrasting flavour elements of the sweet and saltness. The milkshake was made with ice cream and whole milk.

Overall, I would come back.
